Has anyone tried time blocking? Does it work for you?

Time management is definitely not my strong suit. The opposite. Every now an then, I actually try to work on this, and then I go around looking for different methods that might help me. So, I read about time blocking the other day and I plan to give it a try. I know it's sort of random, but any chance that someone here knows anything about this strategy?

We need more context e.g.

- Shutting down pc completely for a period
- stopping games for a period
- stopping work for a period (good plan)
- stopping use of social (I call it anti-social) media
- stop watching movies.

What is your objective?

Yes, I didn't give a lot of details, sorry (when I say "a lot", I mean "any"). My objectives are to reduce the delay in starting (so reduce browsing time, it's not even social media), and to stop spending too much time on low-priority tasks. Also, more often than not, I underestimate how long tasks will take to complete, so would like to improve that too.

So, I decided to follow this guide and focus on planning. I think it will help me stay focused and also see the difference between how long I imagine a task will take to complete vs. how long it actually takes. Made a detailed plan for this week, let's see how it goes.
