I paid via FastSpring, but the receipt isn’t showing up. Support told me that payments must be made via 2Checkout only. The payment will then appear here: https://secure.2co.com/myaccount/

I contacted Easy UEFI and told them I have a Paypal receipt and they sent me the confirmation and license code. However, nothing shows in the program that it is registered and after populating the key, it acknowledged that it is registered but the key isn't listed there permanently. Oh well, as long as I can make cloned copies of Windows onto a USB NVME drive, I'm happy.

edit: I went to https://secure.2co.com/myaccount/ and it shows that I have a registered copy, so it is registered according the Easy UEFI (Hasleo), but again, I put in the key, it shows registered but only while I'm on that page. After closing Hasleo, the key is gone. I guess since I only paid $46 CAD ($5 USD:p) I can't be too fussy...

edit 2: I went back to Hasleo's webpage and actually read it. I then found out that everything is kosher I have the Home edition, not the free, and is registered. Next time I will have to take more time to READ the instructions, RTFM!

Hasleo, in v6alpha, is testing a MIG-like feature as well as a different build process for their EMERGENCY DISK. To eliminate the issues where many users don't have the drivers needed for their off-line hardware when using a WinPE build, they are tuning a driver injection process to obtain the most important drivers needed for the existing hardware (HID devices, NETWORKING, DISK (NvME, etc.). They have always had a WinRE build process available, but with MicroSloth's screwing up that occasionally, they're trying to better tune the WinPE build. As well they are now offering a custom base WIM option for those that have their own favorite PE WIM configurations.

So far, things look very well...

Yes, I encountered this problem too, but it was all sorted by adding a single *.dll file. I’m now looking forward to the beta version. I’d be happy to get involved again. The Hasleo team deserve it.

For those that like to test/play... here's v6.0.0.0 alpha.Enjoy!

I notice there are two new drivers and one automatically installs onto the system.

HasleoFt.sys

HasleoPI.sys

HasleoPI.sys is the MIG driver and is not automatically installed unless you enable the feature.

But what is the HasleoFt.sys for?

HasleoFt.sys automatically installs on the system into the system32/drivers directory.

From the Developers:

HasleoFt.sys is a WHQL-certified minifilter driver currently used to access restricted files and folders in mounted image volumes. It is currently always resident, and we are working on changing it to load only when in use.

You have to uninstall your current Hasleo first. It's very slow installing.

Yes, yes. As usual, I’ve updated my favourite programme straight away and will make a backup before Patch Tuesday. Hasleo is one of the few programmes you can really rely on.

Yep, I too install the latest version as soon as I'm made aware of its existence. I don't automatically replace the Rescue Disk though I'll boot with what I have before I need it to see if it still boots, which so far it always has.

But, may I be indulged and have someone point out to me, when I do make a rescue disk, which box to I check in order to insure that my current rescue image is used to create it instead of having the program use a new one that makes it compliant. (I'm probably not wording this succinctly!) FYI mu machine is fully up to date regarding secure boot certs.

Thanks!

No need to select any boxes, just use all the defaults and it will generate an Emergency Disk that contains the latest version of the app and the current WinRE (updated by Windows Update or alternate procedures). Then create your bootable USB.
