Have internet, task bar shows good interne, browser works, but some other internet functions don't (Windows App Store / Troubleshooter / online games)

Having some issues with a new (to me) computer I just purchased. This was an open box sale, had a fresh install of Windows 11 Pro. I can use internet fine, use Spotify, download games on Steam, but trying to use things like the Windows App Store, Windows Troubleshooter, Steam Cloud Saves, and then online validations within games don't work. I have tried restarting router, I have done the Reset Network Adapters in Windows 11, I have looked to network driver updates, and I have connected directly to router and still experience the same issues. I'm at a loss on what to do and would love if anyone has any insight.

Have you tried changing DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 9.9.9.9 to eliminate it as a cause?
Do you use any adblockers like adguard, they might be blocking this stuff.
I assume that the install was clean, no tainted ISO with blocked tracking?

Just because your internet icon shows on the taskbar to be viable, does not mean you can assume the service is working as it should.The icon can show to be working even if transmit side of your isp service is not or if signal is weak.

Run troubleshooter settings>system>troubleshoot>other troubleshooters>network & internet>RUN

Run a speed test Speedtest by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test

If it is an isp issue connecting directly wired from your modem/poe using ethernet cable(if possible)can prove it. I believe that Asus has a lan port.

I have not installed any adblockers aside from two extensions for Firefox, uBlock Origin, and AdBlocker Ultimate. No other security type programs have been installed yet for the PC

Manual set IPV4 to 1.1.1.1 and no change in issues (This was conducted on Wifi)

I'm not the most familiar with how to tell if clean/tainted ISO or blocked tracking? When I booted, it did the welcome screen for initial windows config for country, language, etc.

Agreed on the icon status, I saw others with similar issues, but their icon showed bad. Didn't know if this helped to differentiate mine from the searches I did.

Network & Internet>Run from Wifi and LAN resulted in "Looks like you aren't connected to the internet"

Wifi: 308.82Mbs Down, 140.95 Mbs Up, Ping 20ms, 126 Down Latency, 25 Up latency
LAN: 309.29Mbs Down, 267.32 Mbs Up, Ping 20ms, 119 Down Latency, 16 Up latency

Is this the tutorial you used? Reset network adapters Reset Network Adapters in Windows 11 Tutorial

Attached is @FreeBooter .bat file which resets network components. RIGHT click on the .bat file and select run as administrator.Restart.

Other suggestions:
Check for file system corruption. Open a command prompt as administrator and type
sfc /scannow
After system file checker completes, make note of whether it found and corrected any problems. If found and corrected, restart
If it found problems it could not correct, in command window type
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
Restart

Change power settings for wireless adapter in Power Options. Control Panel-power options-Balanced should be checked
Next to balanced, click change plan settings
Click Change Advanced Power Settings
Expand Wireless Adapter Settings
Expand Power Saving Mode
Under Setting change it to Maximum Performance

Yep, it could very well be "fake internet syndrome".

Then you obviously have internet connection. Especially if you’re downloading Steam games, that is traffic intensive. Guessing something is being blocked in your router?
My last resort (especially if issues are a result of adding a new system to the router) is resetting the router to factory defaults and setting it up again.
Assuming you have tried connecting directly from your PC to the router to rule out Ethernet network infrastructure issues.

I’d probably disable any firewall software you may have installed, briefly to check. (Including Windows Defender) If nothing mentioned above by these good people has helped you.

If you have wireless cellphone connectivity at your location, you can wi-fi into your cellphone as a "hot spot" (Android and iOS phones can all do this). If everything works through that connection, you'll KNOW it's something in the router.
