Windows 11 home
Hello there,

I'd be grateful for some advice from this forum. I just built my first ever custom pc and installed a legal copy of windows 11 home. However, the pc keeps crashing all the time (most often W11 will freeze and force me to force restart the system) and unfortunately, I don't have any IT background to solve the problem.

I run some diagnostics from an online technical article. The DISM, SFC, and MDSched.exe scans showed no missing files or memory issues. There are no overheating issues and the graphics card driver is up to date. I checked the crash log in the Reliability History which is giving me a lot of critical errors, but unfortunately I cannot ...decipher them to understand where is the problem. I also managed to download some .dmp archives, which I also cannot read and understand where is the problem. I'll try and share these files through Google drive, because apparently I can't attach them here.

Many thanks for your time and help.

Timon

Thank you very much for your prompt reply! Greatly appreciated!
Could you also, please, provide me with the link for the clean installation of this driver?

I'd like to thank you once more for your help. After the clean installation of the driver, my new desktop is now working without further crashes today, whereas previously would crash up to 8 times per day. Could you please share any specific tutorial / youtube video on how to perform this type of diagnostic checks in the future?

Find out why you got a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error and how to stop it.

Hello again,

Followed the above advice and the desktop is still going ...strong. No crashes anymore. To be honest, the only thing I did not do was the BIOS upgrade because I still don't feel confident enough in myself for this adventure. But it's in the plans!

Once more, I'd like to express my sincere gratitude to the folks that helped me!
