The local church use Hive to control heating on their halls. I manage this using the Hive website link. This due for removal in June 2024 and I envisage a problem as the phone app, the only means that will be available, is not as easy to use as the web site one. Be that as it may, having looked at it (being the person landed with the job) I feel that if I have to use the phone app I would rather do so on my computer. Unlike most youthful users (ie those under 70) I am not at all adept at mobile phone use for activities other than phoning someone or taking a photo.
Hence my looking at tutorials here which outline a means of using Android apps on a PC. The first I tried failed, Phone Link (Link Samsung Android Phone to Windows 11 PC Tutorial) because it won't work on my phone or PC as they are too old! I saw a few other tutorials which have a more recent date so may be OK.
Has anyone used any of these apps which I can install on my PC that would allow connection to use apps on my Samsung phone (S8) or tablet (S7)?
