I download, test, and uninsatall a fair amount of software so I was intrigued when I saw this one mentioned in a Facebook video: Uninstalr

I tried it on a few things and it seemed to work OK. I also checked it for viruses and it came back clean.

The only real issue I found after limited testing is it forces a reboot after it has finished deleting things. Maybe this is a good idea - hard for me to tell.

If you want a 3rd party uninstaller, Revo is the best.

I have been using it for a few months and it has been very stable. In reference to the reboot, it ensures any remaining changes take effect for a complete uninstall.

That's an opinion and you are certainly entitled to yours, which doesn't mean you or right or wrong.

I use Revo Installer Pro, it does what I need and has a lot of usable features.

The risk of an aggressive uninstaller like Uninstalr is that it does something to screw up your OS. That table is from the Uninstalr web site so not an independent test. I've never had any problems using Revo.

The number of leftovers is not a reliable method, lets say you have multiple apps from the same company installed and it removes everything related to the uninstalled app, it can break the installed app and that was the case when I tested it. I prefer HiBit Uninstaller. Even the comparison does not make sense, IoBit removed less than windows? It runs the builtin uninstaller and then removes leftovers.
