I think it's an about:config setting.
The other day I had to do a ctrl+shift+del in Firefox because websites weren't being rendered properly. It had gotten too full for some reason.
When I did that, the app notifications went away. I used to get them for Cookie AutoDelete, Clear Cache, Chameleon, etc... Those rectangular little boxes that would appear on my right side of the browser and go away after a few seconds. Now they're gone.
How do I get them back?
