How do I remove Local Time portion of taskbar clock popup

I apologize if this is the incorrect place to address this issue. I am using Windows 11, Version 23H2 OS Build 22631.3880.

The updates are current through KB5040442. I am not sure when this first appeared, maybe around KB5039302.

How do I remove the Local Time portion of the popup portion of the Time/Date when I hover over the System Tray?

I am beyond fed-up with Microsoft adding these enhanced and useless features that add no useful functionality to their Windows OS. As if I don't know what my local time is! It's right there in the System Tray!

It makes more sense to show it there when you have additional clocks (you can add up to two further clocks). For example, I like to see the time in Redmond (Microsoft's HQ) as significant updates such as the Patch Tuesday CUs are usually released at 10:00am over there.

For Additional Clocks, I have none. Clock 1 and Clock 2 are both inactive (greyed, not selected).

Thus, it appears my only option to remedy this cosmetic feature is to either ignore it. Or switch to Linux and if I dislike a feature within that, modify the open-source code.

It does not happen for me and I'm on same version as you are. Check to see if you have you have your time zone set correctly. If you are running any 3rd party app that alters the GUI, check its settings to see if it is generating what you do not want.

Time Zone is set appropriately. Daylight Time Setting is set properly. The only software installed with an overlay is Norton360 and nothing has changed there in months (other than its updates, excluding overlay). The ONLY change has been Windows Update, which I do manually. I simply forgot to check EVERYTHING after an Update. But thank you for responding.

FYI I'm also on the same version but I DO see this on my popup. At least on my Daily Driver. I need to check other Win11 machines. Not something I have ever noticed however.

Update: And FYI there is something with the current Patch Tuesday updates causing this. Just tested on another system before the updates and the local time is not there. After updates...it's there.
