How do I stop MS Office under Win 11 from pinning documents

Windows version is 22H2. How do I stop MS Office from pinning documents?

  This is stock Dell 7720. Only thing not stock is that it is dual boot with Ubuntu Unity 25.04 and SSD has two exFAT partitions for my files. They can be accessed by both Ubuntu and Win software.

File/Options/Advanced/Display/Show this number of Recent Documents:/0

Ordinarily you have to Pin them manually yourself..., if they are auto-pinning, it must be a OneDrive thing, or something else.
