Solved How does Windows determine page file usage?

Win 11Pro v25H2 build 26200.7171
I always thought Windows based its pagefile usage on memory first and HDD second. I have 64G DDR4 3200 memory. Playing a game such as Hogwarts Legacy, which boosts memory usage beyond 27G, I see that Windows is using >20% of its pagefile.

Shouldn't it be using virtual memory rather than HDD allocation?

OK, running Jedi Survivor with the pagefile disabled on all drives, I got this information:

Game had a lot of stuttering. Went back to having a pagefile on a SSD and the game ran smooth.

So, thanks for the replies. I'll keep it where it's at.
