How prevent unexpected upgrade to 22H2

Just out of curiosity, why do you not want 22H2? I find that it has some significant improvements over 21H2, including some things I was used to having in W10 that got left out of the initial 21H2 release. In particular, click and drag to the taskbar and the ability to group apps on Start.
well for me, 22H2 is a nightmare. I have an Acer Nitro 5 and it's sole function is to run No Mans Sky. It continually updates to 22H2 KB5033375 and when it does, I lose complete functionality of the computer. After logging in, the screen starts flashing about twice a second. Before anyone jumps in, all, yes, ALL drivers, video and etc, have been updated. The system runs perfectly until that update hits. I have to recover boot and remove the "feature" update in order to regain control of the system. Then I get about 2 weeks of use of the computer before the cycle starts again. Currently, I'm on one of my 4 Linux systems as I needed something reliable.

Merln,

Couldn't you use the Target version procedure mentioned earlier on in this thread?
If you really cannot stop the update then I would have thought restoring a system image would be the quickest recovery method.

All the best,
