There's a wide variation in thumb drive speeds. I don't know which you have, but keep your expectations low.

Is there a question or are you just showing your slow copy speed? Are you wanting to know what type the USB port is? Surely pretty easy to find out. It’s either blue or black, USB-3 or USB-2

As mentioned. USB drives transfers are slow. The only time I have been pleasantly surprised is with a USB-C thumb drive plugged into a USB-C port on my Laptop.
USB 3.0 (Blue) is kind of bearable.

I use three different programs when I need to copy files or folder. I have them listed in order of copy speeds. File Explorer, TeraCopy and FastCopy. You may get a faster copy speed using a third party program but don't expect a lightning fast increase.

As was noted, there is a wide variety of performance with UFDs. If you are going to transfer data frequently, consider purchasing a high performance UFD. I use a PNY Elite Pro that gives me a continuous consistent real-world speed in excess of 550 MB/s writes. That means that your 6 GB would take me under 11 seconds.

NOTE: If you copy large numbers of small files (thousands of files), as opposed to larger files, that speed drops somewhat, but it's still very fast.

This drop off in speed is normal and is a sort of illusion. Windows copy uses a mwmory cache to hold data being read faster than it can wrrite to drive.

Eventually the cache fills up, and the incoming data can only be read as fast as it can be wtitten so the apparent dpeed drops. Eventually all incoming data drops and the cache gets emptied.

This behaviour is perfectly normal.

If you caclculate time weighted volume average of high speed x time high and low speed x time low, it should be same as size of file.
