drivers need to be integrated to the bootable image which is image 2 in ms standard boot.wim
It is easier to use dism++ which can show you the bootable image
File > Mount Image
click the arrow next to the dropdown and select the bootable image

When i create the image of boot.wim at C:\ , this image not contains boot.wim file to add drivers.

To capture a wim from an applied os is different. What are you trying to do ?
You can find boot.wim in the installation media in the sources folder. It needs to be writeable so you can't do it with a mounted iso file.

I've done some pretty extensive testing with some of this, so here is my take:
If you plan to use the $WinPeDriver$ folder OR integrate drivers into index #2 of the boot.wim, these should be BOOT CRITICAL DRIVERS ONLY. Some drivers simply will not work here and can even cause installation to fail very early in the process.
Since WinPE does NOT support WiFi (yes, it can be hacked) you should not load WiFi drivers here. Instead, integrate those drivers into your main install.wim file.

USB of WinPE is writable. When i extracted the boot wim at C:\ it hasnt boot.wim inside because its it self.
So no mount to USB , no mount to C:\.What you suggest ?

Ms supplied win11 winre.wim supports wifi ( and also has the files for refresh/reset or whatever it is called ) but boot.wim does not
It should be possible to copy the sources folder from boot.wim image 2 into winre.wim plus setup.exe at the root, you might also need to flag it 9, then rename it boot.wim to match the standard bcd entry. But what is the point ?
If you want use winre.wim to install from it is easier to run something wintttsetup

Sorry if I missed this, but what precisely is not working? The storage driver should be easy, but for a touchpad, it sometimes requires a driver you may not expect. As an example, I have an ASUS laptop, a Lenovo laptop, and a Chuwi laptop. The touchpad does not work on any of then in Windows setup. To get the touchpad to work on those systems I do NOT install the touchpad driver in boot.wim on any of them. Instead, I need to load the "I2C" driver or the "Serial IO" driver in the case of the Lenovo because the problem is not actually with the touchpad, rather, it is with the interface that the touchpad uses for communication.
Note that this also holds true when using the $WinPeDriver$ folder.
EDIT: Just wanted to explain this a little better. Think of this like plugging a device into a USB port. You need a driver for that device, but you also need to have your USB drivers loaded. Same deal here. On most modern laptops, the touchpoad connects via what is typically called an "I2C" or "Serial IO" connection and the driver for that is typically what the problem is.

The 2 cases of the WinPE :
1) Install windows. There is no problem as the user can add the missed drivers.
2) Select "Repair PC". Then , the installation put the user at WinRE.
Here is the problem. When you go to WinRE and you need drivers for the disk or touchpad (in my case) , or
anything else , you cant add drivers. Also , you cant work with your disk (Restore points,Command prompt , Image restore)
because the installation dont see your disk.
Also at both cases i havent mouse cause its bluetooth , and touchpad cause the installation hasnt drivers.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Microsoft. If he were paid for the drivers, he would put all the drivers, starting with Windows 3.1.

At some point when I don't have anything better to do, I'll try the Microsoft learn way. The strange thing is that it says that the SDK is required, but in the process of adding drivers, it does not use the sdk.

I got the drivers since i purchase my notebook. I already tried the dism++ , and it not works for the same reason :
The mounted boot.wim , doesnt have another boot.wim when its mounted.
So , there is no boot.wim to add drivers.

or you can use the hp winpe pack and shove them all in, but I am not sure they include the touchpad drivers in the pack
