How to cast from wifi samsung tablet to win 11 pc wired to wifi router

Wired or wireless, doesn't matter. Samsung's Smart Share feature runs a service in Samsung devices (such as Samsung Smart TV) that allows Samsung devices to communicate amongst each other.

You need to find a server-client software, like Plex, that would work on both PC and your Samsung tablet. You'll then be able to cast.

Alternatively, if you can find a way to make Chromecast (dongle) work on your PC, that will be best solution.

My motherboard has built in wifi (MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge Wifi) but my internet is wired.

and therefore your pc supports mircast. my motherboard does not have wifi built in so does not support mircast. im sure its as simple as that.
