Solved How to download Outlook (Classic) 32-bit

It is easy to find instructions on how to download Outlook (Classic), now that the download of the Office suite from the 365 website no longer ships with it. It is at https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2276500 . However, I need the 32-bit version. Does anyone have a link for that? I have a legacy application that can only interact with the 32-bit version of Outlook (Classic).

Unfortunately, the installers downloaded that way don’t give me the 32-bit version.

It’s for a version authenticated by a Microsoft 365 account.

My problem is that my Google searches that include “32-bit” all lead pages that link to https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2276500 .

2. MS office 32 bit comes with outlook but is a trail version
unsure if just installing outlook would result in a trail or not.

I think, and I am trying this now, I have to first make sure that I install the 32-bit version of the entire Office suite from Sign in to your account . Then I will use the approach suggested above to install Outlook (Classic). Let’s see, whether that works…

You don’t have to install them all. Use an O365 iso, extract it so you have the x64 and x86 setup.exe files and use a config.xml to install only x86 Outlook

I like your approach. However, I’d need step-by-step directions on that. Where do I find an O365 ISO, and how do do the extraction?
