How to get your window to open in the same place like in Windows 10

Hello,

While double-clicking MS Word files, it keeps opening in the same spot. In this case it's maximized in the far monitor. It's the last monitor on the Display Settings if that matters.
I try to close it somewhere in the middle monitor where I want it to initially appear, but it doesn't seem to open there. I believe Window 10 would save that last close position, correct?

Is this a bug?

Thanks.

OK, now I just got it to open properly while playing around with opening different files.
What did I do to trigger it to do this? :/

I doesn't seem to like to save the "section snap position". It only saves the "floating window position". But I'm sure initially I tried both and it only opened it in the far windows as mentioned above. Now it only opens in in the last "floating window position".

OK, this is definitely a little wonky.

It saved room for the hidden taskbar.
I kept trying to resize it and it wouldn't open up that big.
Then I moved the window somewhere else and then resized it to overlap the taskbar and THEN it worked.

My Windows 11, MS Word remembers any floating or maximized position, any file, any monitor...,
it will not remember a snapped position.
