Hi Everyone,
I know from reading various articles that in some upcoming windows 11 insider builds that an option to automatically hide the edge sidebar. I know for a fact that at least two different chromium based browsers already have that feature built-into their browser settings, does anyone know some way to get the sidebar to hide the sidebar automatically ? I've already looked in both in the microsoft edge add-ons area as well as chrome web store for some kind of extension for this but couldn't seem to locate one.

First, click the three-dot menu icon from the right side of the top toolbar. Now select "Hide Sidebar" toward the bottom of the menu.
You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + / to toggle the sidebar on and off.

One more thing, whenever I'm told to remove a Registry Key I simply rename it by adding XXX to the end name, This has the advantage of not having to reinstall in those cases where another application uses the key or any data therein.

Thanks so much for the replies, at least for now I've decided to switch browsers to set the windows version of the brave beta browser which already has the automatically feature included.

I already use brave on a different windows computer so setting it up on the computer I'm typing this reply on wasn't that bad, at least for me though I'm still not a big fan of the brave syncing method. Thanks for the vote of confidence. :-)
