how to remove notifications pop-up window from time and date tab in taskbar

Hi, I would appreciate help in removing the notifications pop-up window from the time and date tab in the taskbar. I've just updated to windows 11. I want to be able to click on the date and immediately just see the calendar as I need to use it a lot for reference in my work. I don't want to click the arrow to open the calendar and I don't want to see the notifications window (i want to remove the window not just disable notifications).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

About a half a dozen of us are looking into that..., nothing yet except, try 3rd party apps to restore previous functionality! 🤷‍♂️

I'm not aware of any way to do this without the use of a 3rd party utility. Seems there is a lack of some of this display customizability in Windows 11. I've stuck with Windows 10 on my primary work laptop and my primary desktop at home. I'm only using 11 thus far on a testing box.

This also is really irritating me, I have cleared my notifications but I still get the notifications tab every time I click on date and time and I use that a lot so it's bothering that I have no notifications but still the stupid tab pops up. Why did they do this?

The thing that drives me nuts is..., whether I click on the Notification Area or the Date and Clock, it shows the same thing!!! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I managed to get rid of the Notification "icon"... but not the popup associated with the date/time popup. :/
I'd like to remove the Focus stuff at the bottom of the calendar, too.

It's almost like MS tied it to the calendar to make it hard to remove.

Either that or it was designed by some millennial with one of those 1980's organizers velcroed to their brain, and they don't know any better.
