hp support program keeps wiping out classic outlook

Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621

Week-old hp laptop 17-cp3xxx. Last week before shutting down, I added Classic Outlook through MS 365. Started it up today and Outlook 365 is gone. I added it back and now some program says there is a problem with myh disks.

How do I turn off hp support or whatever it is that wants to delete classic outlook? What else can I delete? Also, as soon as the Ubuntu Unity 25.04 download completes on another pc, I am goimg to burn a USB stick to add 25.04 to this PC as dual boot.

Same thing justg happened again, when Win 11 said I needed to restart.

Hi Smoketoxdoc, Go into settings click on Apps and then click on Installed Apps. Scroll down until you see HP Support, click on the three dots to the right.
Click Advanced options, then set it like this:

In the Taskbar search, type “Outlook”, what shows up in the results?
Not sure that HP Support has anything to do with it. Perhaps, but I couldn’t imagine why.

I don’t know what happened to the previous comment (disappeared) but the classic version of Outlook within Microsoft 365 (M365) is still working and will continue to be supported until at least 2029

Some program? What program? What has this got to do with outlook? A screenshot would be helpful.

Whatever issues you are having with Outlook have nothing to do with your HP app. Howevver, you can disable your HP app from running in the background from taskmanager>startup apps.

Regarding Outlook, are you referring to the toggle in upper right corner (where you can switch from outlook new to outlook classic) has been removed. There have been reports in the last month that MS has arbitrarily changed some 365 users to outlook new.
