Hello everyone,
Problem
Every time I want to start a VM in Hyper-V, I have to keep the USB drive containing the Windows installation plugged into my host machine.
Actual behavior
If I try to start the VM without the installation USB inserted, the VM fails to start and throws an error related to SCSI.
Expected behavior
I would like to be able to start the virtual machine independently without needing the physical installation USB drive attached to the system.
Is there a way to configure or start the VM without having to keep the USB drive plugged in?
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
tecknot
