Solved I am into a problem 24H2


I watched what others said downloaded took one hour 46 minutes I had read earlier few weeks ago to change screen time out to never so that would not interfere with download. Only issue so far is Window Security wanted me to sign in I tried entered password what I had was wrong. I tried to reset it was supposed to send confirmation it did but a lot longer than normal. I hit resend when I didn't receive it finally got a message, I requested to many times I was locked out. Today about 1pm going to try again. I knew I had a issue my photo does not appear in my Microsoft account.

one more thing I did before downloading 24H2 few weeks earlier tried to do a backup with system image never could before I had just bought a new laptop, and I thought I try to on new laptop. After 6 hours it failed again but this time Windows backup said it could not find the drive I was backing up to. I asked after looking at File Explorer it showed TWO D drives where there was only one. I asked on forum why was given a tutorial how to get a setting to fix that, I call an error. I did what it said that problem went away. Also bought a new external drive that was 2 ours quicker then old one. Maybe that helped on 24H2 download.

I am locked out till 1pm today tried to sign in too many times, after 24H2 download I noticed I had to do something I tried to did not get verification code when I did finally, I got a lock out message. Right now, I do not have a photo on my Microsoft account. The bit blocker needs to be turned on, will these go way and syn one note get fix once I get signed in?

Enable 2FA, in your case for SMS. I generally do not recommended SMS, but it is better for 1952.

funny you should mention 2FA by text because thats the only 2FA my phone will do.
its a Nokia 2660 feature phone, no smarts phone for me.

today checked date and time I was blocked changed password, which was 3:34pm on 10-18-24 I turned on 4pm laptop expecting problems and having to call support. To my surprise everything was up and running. My account photo there no Windows security error. Only had to sign into copilot and outlook Mobil app. thanks to all for your collaboration and help ;-);-)

I have had sync issue for three days no one could help me but today I saw what it was. I am added as a user on another laptop.

One laptop my wife’s HP laptop I am user under 23H2 but on my New Dell laptop I am user 24H2. I removed myself from Hp laptop using control panel windows setting did not show me as the other user. When I tried to remove myself control panel said it could not because my other laptop was connected once I shut down my laptop removal worked. I could hit myself wasting my and all your time on this issue. Sorry to all

Update:

If it happens again, you probably need to report a hacking incident.

It's now recommended to check you sign-in history and see if someone (especially someone from outside your region) gained access.
