I did a Windows 11 backup and Reset and have many problems.

First, I wanted to restore my computer after Rest so I did a Windows 11 backup first (to my MS cloud account) so I could restore to my previous state. When I did the reset, I chose the ‘keep Files’ option and the file were kept. I asked Google and Bing this question:
after performing a windows 11 reset, how can I restore my computer from the windows backup I did

Bing gave me answer regarding restore and talked about a creating a restore point, but that is not my situation
Restoring Windows 11 Using System Restore

Google gave me this answer

Apps & Settings: When you set up your PC after the reset and sign in with the same Microsoft account, Windows will prompt you to restore your desktop apps, settings, and Wi-Fi preferences from a previous PC or backup. [1]

But in fact after the reboot after the restore I was NOT given the restore prompt. I have lost access to my applications, including my MS Word account.

How can I pull down my cloud back up to my PC?

Second, after the restore, Bing will not let me log into Google. When I try to log into Google, I enter my email address and I get a pop up requesting my MS PIN. I enter my PIN but get the message from Window Security saying:
Something went wrong
There was a problem signing in with your passkey.

NOTE. It does not give me the option to sign in with my Google password. I was able to log into my Google account in Firefox and Chrome using my Google password.
How can I log into Google from Bing?

Thank you for help.

I think when you login to your Microsoft account only Microsoft Store apps will be installed you had not desktop apps.

I think you do not fully understand the different recovery options.
A reset does not not keep apps.
Reset this PC: Allows you to do a fresh reinstall of Windows 11. You can choose to Keep my files (which preserves personal documents, pictures, and desktop files while removing apps and settings) or Remove everything (which completely wipes the drive and reinstalls Windows).

If one wants to have an option of recovering everything...OS, applications, settings, tweaks, folders and files, the whole 9 yards....one must make regular images using a 3rd party imaging app (as most of us here do)

You will have to reinstall whichever version of Office that you were using.

Windows Reset (Keep files) will indeed remove everything you installed:

A Windows Reset reinstalls the operating system to give your PC a fresh, clean start.

When you start the process, you are given two main choices on what to do with your data:

Option 1: Keep My Files

This option reinstalls Windows but preserves your personal documents, pictures, music, and videos. [1, 2]

What is removed: All installed applications (like Chrome, MS Office, or games), manually installed drivers, and your customized system settings.
What is kept: Your personal user files and Microsoft Store apps.
I.e. Anything you downloaded and installed will be gone. Only Store apps will be available.

How can I log into Google from Bing?
Unfortunately this is not a meaningful question.
I would read this like this: Google is a search engine. Bing is a search engine. so you are asking How can I log into one search engine from another? Sorry, doesn't make sense.

Whilst you should be able to log in to your OneDrive account (i.e. using a browser), I don't see how that will help you. Only personal files and folders which OneDrive is set to sync will be available... and you should still have those on your PC anyway.

Are you having difficulty accessing your MS account?
