I installed Windows 11 Insider Preview beta, but I have no Windows 11 app store. There is no screen recorder app. When open Windows Defender gives the following error.
We can't open this "windowdefenderink" link.
your device needs a new app to open this link. On Windows 11 23H2 build 22635.3130
I downloaded Windows 11 23H2 build 22635.3130 insider preview beta from UDP or uup but after installing its version was less.
then I updated it and its version became Windows 11 23H2 build 22635.3130.
how to fix this error.

As you have the latest Beta build, then you don't need to use UUPDump to do an in-place repair install. You can do it from Settings > System > Recovery, which will use an official download of the install files direct from Microsoft (if you are using an unsupported device, you can still do this but will need to use the appraiserres.dll workaround). See Option One in this tutorial.

This option is only available starting with Windows 11 build 25905 (Canary), build 23601 (Dev), and build 22635.2915 (Beta).

This will download and install a repair version of the OS. This operation reinstalls the OS that you have and will not remove any files, settings, or apps.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to lid hinges starting to break up this laptop has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven in 'Other systems' to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

    I've now clean installed 25H2 and used Garlin's scripts to update Secure Boot to CA 2023 and revoke the PCA 2011 certificates. It's new role is to test secure boot issues.

    Info for 2021-2026:
    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

i can't even take screenshots.
please tell me how to clean install the latest Windows 11(delete partition, format partition).with USB and without USB.
if I download a Windows 11 image file. mount and open it.and find appraisers.dll file and delete it. and make an empty text file on the desktop. rename this file to appraisers.dll.and cut or copy and paste it into the location where appraisers.dll file is located. will I be able to clean install windows 11.

Just as an aside, I've had issues from installs using UUP Dump. Occasionally, my installs have no MS Store installed and sometimes I have issues installing apps and drivers due to missing system level requirements.

I tend to not personally use that site and stick to standard MS download sites and then change my Windows Insider to the release I want to try, but YMMV.

i have two drives. c drive and d drive.if I download Windows 23H2 iso and save it on d drive. and apply the reg file to install Windows 11 on unsupported hardware. will I be able to clean install I am talking about the kind of clean install, in which I am presented the options of delete, format, and create a new partition. without using Rufus.plz help.
