The download size is ~3GB, but I believe Windows only installs the parts it wants/needs.
Like a one-size-fits all.

In the past, I've had the occasional update have problems installing.
In my case at least, it wasn't Windows Update... and an In-Place Upgrade fixes it.

I restarted the pc and going to try install update again.. first time update stubborn to install

Actually nvm, ive decided im not intrested in any of these new features. It would be futile to download the update. Its not like anything critical... only "cosmetic" . But thank you -you lot for helping to resolve the issue
