When my monitors come back from monitor sleep mode (not computer sleep mode), my Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 keyboard's backlights are shut off. I have to restart iCUE in order to get my backlighting restored.

I'm running Windows 11 build 2200.346 and iCUE version 4.17.244. I rolled back to v3.x of iCUE to see if the problem persisted, and it does. So, I reinstalled v.4.17.244. Reinstalling the software didn't work. I've also removed the driver and let Windows 11 select the driver. No dice there, either. I've contact Corsair customer support, but I thought I'd try here as well.

Anyone else notice this with iCUE if you have it?

I don't have the same keyboard but I do have the Corsair K55.. the waterproof RGB keyboard. I have cats so I need a waterproof version.
I'll try out the sleep monitor mode later and and see what happens and report back ASAP.

Ok.. I just finished a test and the keyboard lighting never went off and it stayed on the entire time the monitor was on.
What version of iCUE are you using? I'm on version 3.33.246

If you're on a more current version I'll update and try the test again

iCUE user here, though I've got no external Corsair products, just internal - RAM, Fans, AIO cooler.

Anyway for all issues iCUE, I just visit the Corsair iCUE forums. They've answered all my questions in the past.

Good luck.

Turns out there's a lot of issues with v4.x of iCUE. I might roll back to v.3.x. I really like v.4x, but it's malfunctioning.

Version 4 user here. Yes, there is/was a lot of moaning and groaning at the Corsair forums about version 4 of the software. BTW, I'm registered there.

Anyway, I'm not having any issues, but I don't have any external products - just internal - RAM, Fans, AIO cooler. No issues there.

Do you need to use iCUE, if it's just simply for the Keyboard lighting, you don't need it, the MK2 has the basic patterns preset into the keyboard itself.

FWIW.. I tested out ver 4 and it works for me at least. If I run into any issues I'll rollback to ver 3..
Thanks for the information
I myself also have no issues with version 4, but I also don't have any external products, I just have their LED RAM, 3 RGB fans, and an AIO cooler. And with iCUE all I do is set a static color (red) for those items, and set fan/pump speeds. That's it.

That said, I think the issues may depend on the items used, setup, and what you want to do.

Well, I bought it because I could turn the backlighting to purple. So, I do kind of need it. The basic patterns annoy me whereas purple calms my nerves. :)

Erin would go for purple. I either use a rainbow color pattern to match my PC fan or blue to match my case fans.

Thanks, Dru2. I posted there just now. We'll see what they say.

I see you. I'd suggest you create your own thread instead as it's likely to get far more looks than the thread you posted in

I'll do that. I'm having issues with both monitors coming out of sleep and the computer coming out of sleep on both v3.x and v4.x. I can remedy it by restarting the program, but that shouldn't have to happen.
