In a few months Norton 360 renew, changing to just Anti-Virus. Tired of bloat... they went backwards again, it was doing well up until the last couple of years... IMHO. I do not pay ful price anyways, I get it for a fraction of what Norton sells it for on their website. I have been voicing my option on Norton forums for quite a while. Lots of people are fed up with bloatware constantly being aggressively pushed on us with all kinds of popups, reminders, etc.

I used lots of different AV products over the years, including Norton, McAfee, AVG, etc. I'm running with just Windows Security and Malwarebytes for the last three or four years. Too much junk in most of the big names nowadays! My days of going to tons of mystery sites are long behind me now.

I'm a big believer in a lot of layers of backup, that's better protection than trying to outguess all the clowns trying to infect computers. :-)

The greatest anti-virus of all is the grey matter between the users' ears. But, my late father-in-law was one of those click happy people who clicked on every pop-up that promised to speed up his computer.
