How do I change the font size in the File Save Window, specifically the File Name field?

2024-01-18 19_54_11-Save Image.png
I tried Advanced System Font Changer. I couldn't find a setting to increase the size of the font in the File name field.
Windows 11 Home 10.0.22631

Thanks!

As far as I've found the only thing I could do was to change the Display settings and increase the size globally [everywhere] to 125% or 150%, which actually would help with large-size monitors. My Desktops use 24" and 27" monitors while my computer repair station uses a 21.5" monitor, all at 1920x1080 resolution. The dialog box size increases and the text also increases.

change the font size in the File Save Window,
As far as I am aware, you can't. About all you can do is play with your scale to get is as large as you need it that works with your particular resolution and screen size without throwing everything else out of kilter. I've found changing the system font to something other than segoe ui has helped me as much as anything. It's not that a different system font is any larger, just that the eye perceives some fonts differently than others and makes them easier to read. What is best for one person's eyes is not always right for another's.

If you like a serif font, I recommend Georgia. Good san-serif fonts are Calibri and Tahoma. I've used Calibri for years. Something most people do not know is that MS has now made 365 cloud fonts available for use in Windows system wide. I downloaded MS 365 new font Aptos as well as Google's font Roboto. Recently I changed my system font to Roboto and am liking it so far. For anyone interested in installing these new fonts into Windows here's how. Make Cloud Fonts available to all programs, not just Office

Here's how to change your system font if you're interested.

Not sure if any of these will change it, but you can try all font adjustments via winaero tweaker as well…
Maybe “message font” will take effect on that dialog as well?

I used Winaero to change the system font to Calibri and increase the size of the font in many uses.
(I also made many Office fonts available globally.)
The file name field is still the same font and the same size.
If need be, I will be changing my display settings.
Thanks for the tips!

This is definitely risky, but I changed the overall display zoom to 125%.
Display Settings > Scale
(For some reason, the system always shows a gray "225%" regardless of your current setting.)
Everything got bigger!

New:

This is risky because lots of things get moved off screen and it may be difficult to restore the previous setting.
For now, I'm going to give this solution a try.
