Increase space on Windows SSD by using unallocated space on secondary SSD

Then move your personal folders to the drive letter assigned to the new partition.
I'm guessing this is exactly the same operation but fewer clicks?

It does not matter which partition tool you use, your goal cannot be completed.
Atm I'm more interested in alternative solutions minus buying new SSD. My current goal is to balance out my SSD spaces because my secondary has ridiculous amount of free space while Windows one almost none.

My main goal is to free up lots of space on C: to the cost of the secondary drive to speed up my Windows experience.

Make your own folders on the storage drive, for pictures, music, videos, documents... etc.
If you save all that junk on the Windows partition... yeah... it's gonna fill up fast.

Don't move the folders themselves... just move what's in them.

If it's not your user folders using up all this space (that I can get my brain around) just how many applications have you got installed and do you use all of them.
If you don't use all of them, uninstall the stuff you do not use. I have a ton and come in less than 100gb on my C: partition. Maybe you need to do some housecleaning. Do you have a windows.old folder at the root of C:

I only need to know what type of operations it does under the hood to achieve what it claims to do. What it's saying on the surface level on these screenshots can be interpreted in many ways (eg. I thought at first moves all of it to S: then uses symlinks to point back to their original locations, which I DON'T want).

Don't move the folders themselves
I think this is the first time I have ever disagreed with you Ghot. If he doesn't move the folders, all his default 'save file' associations in his apps will be pointing to the wrong partition.
He would have to make a lot of other changes to straighten that out.
By moving the default folder locations, every other association in windows will follow that path.

What it's saying on the surface level on these screenshots can be interpreted in many ways (eg. I thought at first moves all of it to S: then uses symlinks to point back to their original locations, which I DON'T want).

That's right. Many ways.

If you are risk averse, you don't poke the button.

If you are not, you do.

Unless you can find an experienced EaseUS user regarding those specific operations. They may be in short supply.

An image would provide some protection against a bad outcome. Some.

Most programs remember where they saved something the last time, and save it there again... even when it's not the expected sub-folder in Users.

But we can still disagree. :-)

Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
With all these posts the ist thing is to clearly decide in a sentence or two exactly what you want to do -- don't even think at this stage HOW to do it.

When you've done that THEN think about how to do it -- there's usually more than one answer --some methods are easier than others - but anything that works is OK. Write it down - the steps to do and then go for it.

Don't forget to back stuff up before starting -it's Windows -- and as we all know 100% Windows never breaks or behaves unpredictably --does it? !!.

So obviously the object is to keep Windows on existing drive C and get more space on that drive.

If you want to keep Windows on your drive C I'd do this plan of attack :

1) backup existing Windows and any data you want on 2nd drive to some storage device.

2) restore Windows from "C" to the 2nd drive --- the reason for doing this is now to reduce the size of the windows install to a small sensible amount - move any user data etc elsewhere. Even a largish Windows install needn't be much > 45GB. Make it 80GB if you want -- use data, music, multi-media, video etc can be moved elsewhere. Windows should just have the OS and installed programs / apps such as Office etc.

3) Use any stand alone partition manager to shrink the windows system you have on that 2nd drive

4) now copy it back to the ist drive and create 2nd partition on that drive

5) restore any data back to your 2nd drive (data copied from step 1).

Job done Q.E.D

A free bootable partition manager is GPARTED -- Any Windows user could use the GUI without a problem as it's pretty identical to standard partition managers. It can also copy individual partitions etc as well as resizing / moving / creating them. But use anything that is similar and works.

The GUI looks like this so anybody should be able to use it clearly. You will need a stand alone partition editor if you need to re-size your current (booted) Windows partition. Note any file system is supported Linux (all of them) and of course fat32, vfat and ntfs.
