Hi Guys, I have watched several youtube videos on how to make a usb drive with Ghost Spectre 23H2. When I try to boot into the os, F11 is my boot from usb it just goes right into windows. I've tried a few other usb drives to no avail. I'm on Windows 10 Pro right now. 22H2 19045.2965. These are the files on my usb drive. Thank you, Joe

So the problem is more that you can’t start the Alt boot with f11 than it is with the USB itself? Can you use F11 to boot to any other USB? Like a Windows repair or install USB?

Try disable Fast Boot in the BIOS if it is enabled.

Can you not directly boot to a USB from within the MSI GE78HX 13VI BIOS?
I don’t have one but I can boot to a UEFI USB from within my ASUS BIOS

Check your BIOS in the MSI. See if this UEFI option is in the BIOS

STEP 1. Reboot your computer and hit Delete repeatedly to enter the BIOS setup.

Step 2. Navigate to the Boot tab in BIOS setup and select UEFI.

Step 3. After saving the settings, reboot and press "F11" repeatedly to enter the boot menu.

I disabled fast boot and the bios was in UEFI but it still won't boot from the usb drive. I've installed a few other custom OS and never had a problem. I also put the Ghost Spectre files on another usb drive but it won't boot.

Short of suggesting that you try to compare the contents with a list from somewhere (I couldn’t find one) or obtaining Ghost Spectre 23H2 from another source, I am out of ideas, sorry Joe. Someone else might have some idea.

Have you tried or is it even possible to create the USB using Rufus?
If the files aren’t already in the form of an ISO you will need to create one first

Do you have a Windows 11 release (or ten) USB install disk you can check to see if the laptop will boot to?
I am also wondering if the EFI boot manager files on your Ghost USB are corrupt, that your laptop would bypass and boot to Windows.
And I am also wondering if the Bootmgr files and the bootmgr folder would be the same in a release ISO as they would be in the Ghost, that you could copy them over to rule out file corruption?

I finally got the usb to boot to Ghost Spectre by disabling secure boot. Again I thank you for all you help!
