Installing multiple Backup solutions, any issues to be aware of

I used to run Macrium Free and its still installed. I put the services on manual , so they dont run .

I replaced that solution with Veeam .

I'm now thinking of also installing BDRSuite which seems to be full featured and free for home use . I'm wondering if there are any issues having multiple backup programs installed at once, such as driver conflicts.

I do all my backups MANUALLY , so there would not be any conflict of two backups trying to run at once.

I know many here have more than once backup program installed, so thought you would know of any issues .

The only issue I can think of is the file extension used by programs. Usually they are different and won't open in other similar programs. I do have 2 programs that use the same extension of .ged, one is an Ancestry program and the other is a graphics editor I've used for years. Naturally they won't open each others files so I have to be careful in identification. There are programs that can open competing programs' files of different extensions such as LibreOffice can open Word, Works, WordPro, WordPerfect and many other formats.

As long as you don't actually run more than one at a time, you're fine.
