pre boot pin startup is quite different than regular bitlocker FDE. So not sure if its expected to work? Should any reason not to? Because of the architecture?

With just TPM, you get the decryption key from TPM and decrypt the key on disk. With TPM+PIN, you get the decryption key from TPM+PIN and decrypt the key on disk. It doesn't seem fundamentally different. Also same components, straightforward enough for any processors (intel, AMD, ARM), no trick required.

Bootlocker PIN affords a greater level of security as PC will not even boot if you do not enter PIN. However for home based pcs, this can become very annoying after a while.

(SnapDragon is the first ARM based windows chip made by Qualcomm for PCs)

Okay, Was just that windows has always been x86 based. Its not an issue of the "ai" stuff because that also exists already with intel ultra chips.
SnapDrago chips are ARM based, & a lot of applications don't actually function on these new arm based Windows laptops yet. Windows is having to use an emulator called Prism, to emulate them. And some stuff is still not compatible. So I wasn't sure how that would affect some of the advanced windows functionalities like bitlocker pre boot, if its based on x86 chips only or has any effect.

I'd imagine all the fundamental windows functionalities being compiled for ARM architecture, not running on the emulator. For something as basic as PIN unlocking (which isn't even running in Windows yet)... All the basics would have to be there already; otherwise, you can't build a native app on it.
