I have my backup set to an incremental backup 5 times and then do a full backup again. The problem is that it keeps doing incremental backup and does not stop doing it.

what backup software are you user please
there are many forum members who use different types of backup software who maybe able to help.

You should also post a screenshot of your existing backup plan rules (the set of instructions that define the way your image is created and managed).
