Is it possible to change the background color of the new MS Photos App?

I know that it was possible before:

change Windows Photo Viewer background color in Windows 11

I tried the Windows 10 method but it failed to change to black color. https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/80208-change-windows-photo-viewer-background-color-windows.html any other method ? thanks.

Microsoft Photos or (legacy) Photo Viewer? Photos is an UWP app, which keeps everything in settings.dat.

Which doesn't have any setting for the background. And probably doesn't because it would conflict with light and dark modes.

Cog > Customise theme > choose Dark for black background, choose Light for white background.

Exactly! They have many good and useful applications , but you need to go and get other software to replace them simply because of small details like this!

In Windows 11 24H2 open Photos then open Settings <gear>. Change Theme to Dark.

Now my question is how to change background of Control Panel?
