Having just grudgingly made the switch from Win 7 to Win 11 Pro 24H2, I have to tweak this puppy to be half as good as W7 was.:rolleyes:
I've spent the first week tweaking everything obvious until I learn my way around W11.

In W7, devices could be grouped as per attached pic, but it seems that (as of Win 8?) this can't be done any more.
If there is a way, I'd love to know it.

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
Hmmm...I'm suspicious of apps where the website isn't even proofread properly; makes me question the app quality control.
Some say Win 10, some Win 11 compatibility.
There are a lot of apps out there a decade old from the XP/Vista era claiming to be W11 compatible, but in fact they don't work at all, but it's more of a marketing aberration by the sites to look like their content is contemporary.
I'd prefer not to go down the ExplorerPatcher style of solution as changes may be negated or corrupted by Microsoft updates.
I'm really looking for a way of achieving the view style change by more approved methods like Regedit.
Anyway, I'll keep looking for now, but thanks to repliers.
