Is it possible to remove the Search This PC bar?

In my picture, the Search This PC doesn't need to be there. I never use it. Can I remove it?

I don't think you can disable the bar since it is the Tab bar, a fundamental part of File Explorer but you can change the location that 'Open File Explorer to:' points at. I changed mine from 'This PC' to 'Home' but these are the only two options you can select. I see 'Search Home' instead.
