Is MacriumRescue.iso the only bootable iso that gives you wifi access?

I would like to know if any other bootable iso's give you wifi access.

Can it be used to run or download any external programs?
In theory, I see no reason why this would not work. Macrium does it so that you can backup and restore systems (notebooks especially) via WiFi. For example, I have a Lenovo laptop with no Ethernet adapter. It's WiFi 6e only, which actually turns out to be faster than Gigabit Ethernet.
Just bear in mind that this only works for Win
RE based media, not WinPE. There are some articles on the web discussing how to add WiFi support to WinRE yourself, but admittedly I've not tried that. Although I am intrigued and have it on my bucket list to try

But, coming back to your initial question: I'm not aware of anyone else taking advantage of this capability. I'm sure that some other programs must make use of it, but I don't know of anyone other than Macrium.

Mine on an HP Laptop 15 did just the other day for a clean install of Win11. And my bootable Linux Mint and Lubuntu LiveUSB drives give it on the same Laptop.
