I am a victim and get the CTD's from them.. pissed... they never pay for their colossal screwups, and they just call it another Tuesday at MS! I get lockups and CTD since the update from MS the other day. According to MS, they will not post a fix for 2 weeks !!

it is a mandatory update. btw, I flew tonight in VR a few hours and had no issues. The day before I had really bad crashes with difficult reboots.

You can uninstall updates and then suspend Windows Update. Or just keep complaining about it. Up to you.

Many reports around about the impact some have experienced with the June update.

Noting you don't say if you have Home or Pro - that matters:

Protect yourself- get Win 11 Pro, use group policy to set updates to Notify then nothing is downloaded until you say so.
And block preview updates in group policy.

Or find a more awkward way to achieve something like that with Home. E.g. disable routine Windows update and use one of the free tools to do it manually. Various options described for several years.

Also ways to control when your PC might restart starting with Active Hours. Nothing new about all this. Just do your homework and protect yourself.

And of course, enable System Restore, use 3rd party disk imaging routinely.

That way you will stop MS annoying you most of the time, and not need to moan.

I've come to accept the fact that every new WU including a new public supposedly stable build may have an unexpected bug. The risk increase if you want to experience new features with insider builds but you are free to choose.

Now, I have seen MS accidentally push Dev builds out on the wrong channels more than once so you always need to pay attention to what build is being pushed and hit the pause button if it's not one you want. Never update without checking.

Myself I tend to stick with Beta and Release Preview insiders as they are usually pretty stable although admittedly they sometimes have annoyance bugs within them. I honestly see no advantage at all to Windows Pro over Home unless you absolutely must have and want Bitlocker (I don't). I could care less about Group Policy editor.

That's your choice. You're missing the easiest way to control updates built into Windows editions that have the group policy editor.

What I do when I have similar issues is to uninstall the latest update and then use Microsoft Windows Update Show/Hite Tool to hide it (block it). Or I use System Restore (I have always enabled) to go back to a restore point before the update is installed and then hide it (block it). If I find a solution, I then install the update again and then use the workaround I found. If not, I just wait for the next update which will make the blocked one obsolete.

If you managed to uninstall that broken KB5094126 patch, make sure you lock the door so Windows doesn't immediately force-feed it back to your machine.

You can freeze background updates completely by setting your connection to Metered—and yes, this works for hardwired Ethernet cables too, not just Wi-Fi.

Settings -> Network & Internet -> click your Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection -> toggle Metered Connection to ON.

Then go to Windows Update -> Advanced Options -> turn OFF 'Download updates over metered connections.'

This stops Microsoft from using your hardware as a broken testing ground until they actually fix their code.

You're not alone in this MS debacle. It's happening globally.

I also had some problems with KB5094126 which was Windows 25H2 version 26200.8655.

The problem was resolved after installing KB5095093 and updating to version 26200.8737.

In my case, CPU activity was higher than normal and I could hear the CPU fan speeding up.

The process Windows Audio Endpoint Builder would run for several hours but eventually stop. CPU activity from that process was running 16-18%.

CPU activity returned to normal after the update. The task manager is currently showing 0% CPU for Windows Audio Endpoint Builder.
