Thanks for that tip! The RealTek console that came with my driver is really bare bones and practically useless.
I need to play around with the settings and fine tune it but it sounds amazing "out of the box".

the problem is that OP's (Drugo's) Asus F1504ZA laptop uses a 3rd party audio enhancer called "Dirac Audio" (hence, I see a Dirac APO driver like this one, on the driver downloads page for the F1504ZA as well as a Dirac Audio Manager UWP Application download listed on there too)
so the audio options {like EQ/equalizer & environment} that would normally be available in the Realtek audio console app will never show up on that Asus laptop and instead will appear & would be controlled thru the Dirac Audio Manager app {well it's the choice/decision by Asus to put certain 3rd party audio/sound enhancements on those laptops}

the Dirac APO driver must be installed after installing the Realtek audio driver and before downloading the "Dirac Audio Manager UWP" app from the MS store

hi
but i have tried with other laptops , the point is that windows 11 during the installation is used to download video card and audio cards drivers
i have installed on several laptops , and they haven't the realtek panel
i guess the realtek panel could mess up everything ,because some drivers from the motherboards are not very updated and they could sound badly
maybe a thirty part panel would be the best

According to ASUS the console that comes with the driver is the same bare bones I have on my ASUS laptop.



It's crap basically. You can create an equalizer setting and save but the next time you boot it's back to default.

As someone mentioned earlier I've been using FXSound for all of my laptops a long time. It's an excellent app. You should try it and if you don't like it you can always uninstall.

Get it from terminal,

winget install FxSoundLLC.FxSound

or,


or Microsoft Store.

This is from my 2010 Asus G73JH audio updated 2012





As you can see, it has all the sound effects in it's library. As it was mentioned, you should have an app that will now control
all the sound effects on your notebook.

I still have the Realtek control panel on this recent notebook from MSI but, it also has Nahimic which control all the sound and
surround sound effects.

i think in Nahimic , you can have a 10 eq bands and change the frequency from 44.100 to 48.000 or higher

Sorry but I don't think Asus is supported by Nahimic
I know for a fact that MSI, Lenovo and Gigabit Aorus
notebooks are.
You could try the Sonar from Steelseries but, I'm not sure if
you would need the whole app GG from SteelSeries.
It is close to Nahimic and I have it on this notebook because
I have a SteelSeires keyboard and I have to use GG app but,
I don't use Sonar.
Sonar is a pretty comprehensive app. You might be better
off using FXSound for now until you can investigate other
possibilities or research other apps that you might want to
look at. Once you've done your research, come back and ask
if anyone is using the app that you are interested in.
I cannot tell you which one you should definitely install because
I'm not you meaning, we all have different tastes and our
hearing is also different. What sounds good to me might not
be you cup of tea.

but there is a power eq , i don't like apo equalizer is too compelx , even apo equalizer + volume2 are impressive combo

yes , it is , powerfull very powerfull and volume2 great software 100% portable , easy to use with tons of feature to control volume
apo equalizer ,great software can support even vst ,and impressive light ,but pretty hard to use
it can change eq ,boost volume for eache software or game with peace front end

in short for other users, or let's install the motherboard realtek drivers ,uninstall them from device manager and install from the motherboard
or use a application from microsoft store
just the point , some drivers don't sound so great ,i'm talking about the motherboards or brands laptops

Have a look at Peace Equalizer, it's a friendly GUI for APO. It's been years since I played around with both (prefer FX) worth a look.
