No it is the dreadful Samsung CHG70. Many victims of this monitor model around the world.

@barreleye about this color tool is it possible to reset all changes back ?

Most often than not there is a reset setting in that OSD (on screen display) for the monitor. It would be a long shot but you could reset it. All it does is set the monitor settings (input/brightness/contrast etc) to default.

More importantly though, as others have suggested, unless you’re using the duel cables for what barreleye explained to us earlier, use one cable at a time.

tried now the reset but problem remain

I have actually lost track of what is going on.

Shut down the PC

Leave the main monitor pugged in, unplug the other cables for the second monitor from the back of the PC so that you only have the one cable to the main monitor plugged into your PC.

(Don’t plug in the 2nd monitor)

Reboot.

What can you see in the Display settings?

Is the OP trying to solve the original problem of a ghost display in settings...,
or, the problem with grey lines on the monitor...,
or, both...

Hopefully the Ghost Monitor, Edwin? But it was worth a shot tring to eliminate a cause for the lines.

The lines still show, I’d guess there is something wrong with either your monitor or your graphics card or your cables. I don’t know which. I suppose plugging your main monitor into the input your secondary monitor is could rule out the card. If you don’t get the lines on the main monitor after doing so, it probably isn’t your card.

Re the Ghost;
Two things

ONE:

If your PC restarts and there is only one monitor (main monitor) in the display settings;

- Shut down the PC
- Plug in the 2nd monitor with ONE CABLE, probably the HDMI cable (leaving the main monitor plugged in also)
- Reboot

What do you see in the display settings now?


TWO:

After doing what I suggested in my previous post (Post #47) and If your PC restarted with only your main monitor plugged in yet there is still a Ghost Monitor showing, it’s back to the drawing board.
