Is there any way to stop google etc from giving reddit as query answers

Hi folks

IMO reddit is the most USELESS site ever for any answers whatsoever -- even it's Bull/S is totally useless which is an achievement in itself. I don't think even in the USA they've heard of the expression of a "Grade B A--hole" -- the stuff on reddit wouldn't even qualify as a Grade C variety. !!. Has anybody in the whole galaxy or even wider universe ever got anything sensible from the reddit site.

What would be brilliant if there's a way when making queries to deliberately exclude answers found on specific websites -- surely can't be too hard to do that.

Any ideas on how to do it. Perhaps a money making idea here folks !!!!

Search Google for google advanced search exclude domain

I believe Google accepts search operators while searching.
example: If you are searching for 'Windows 12' and want to see only reddit.com results you would type Windows 12 +reddit.com
If you want to search for 'Windows 12' but do not want reddit results as part of your query you would type Windows 12 -reddit.com

Yes, you can use Google's advance search but it does the same thing as a user entering his own operators inside his search.
There is so much you can use search operators for and most sites accept them...a real time saver on sites like ebay and Amazon as you can use these operators to narrow a search down as much as you want..

These also have a side effects. For instance if you add -amazon.com, not only will it filter out the amazon.com domain, but results that include amazon.com in their content. Same with +amazon.com - t will include sites that have a reference to amazon.com.

The advance search specifically has a box to narrow it down to a domain. But that doesn't do what jimbo wants.

I've never really found reddit to be interesting. Like Twitter, I just don't use it.

What you want is

<search terms> -site:reddit.com
