Issue with Outlook

New PC setup and can create a new profile to my local Exchange server. All works well and everything there. That is until I close Outlook. After restarting Outlook I get a blank setup from outlook with the default folders.
Delete the profile and start again and exactly the same thing happens. The Exchange server is a 2013 version and am using the correct manual setup. I have 3 other PC's using the same Outlook and they all connect fine and work perfectly.
Am at a loss as to what is happening. Any suggestion welcome? Outlook is the full Office365 version.

Looks like the server is being changed to outlook.com. When I check the account settings it is change from my email address to [email protected] where xxxxx is a long number.

Here is a picture of exchange connected after creating the profile. The second picture is after closing outlook and immediately reopening. Clearly shows it is changed to outlook.com. I am using the classic version of outlook.

John, for safety, you should blur/blacken out your email address in your screenshot.

I don't have an answer for you; however, I strongly suggest that you mask your email address in the two screenshots you posted.

Is this classic outlook? If so head over to Control Panel >Mail applet and try setting up your email account there.

Yes, Does not work, same thing happens. Works first time after creating profile and then after closing it gets changed to outlook.com.

The fact that you are on an Exchange server does not mean you can't have POP accounts.
Exchange servers let you use .pst files locally and support POP & IMAP.

Tried it again and it won't connect. Says User name/password wrong if I use my exchange login name. If I add the @servername to it then says cannot find the active exchange. I know my username/password is right and exchange is set right as I have 3 other PC's working exactly the same way.
Also doing it this way does not give me the option of selecting which type of exchange.
