Well it does that here as the title says....... It also does something else weird.....

Windows throws an error on a driver that I think iTunes installs called GEARAspiWDM.sys located in C:\Windows\System32\drivers.
It refuses to load it unless you switch off Memory Integrity (which is a little bit silly) in Core Isolation in Windows Security.

Perhaps one of you could try mounting an iso after installing iTunes...... The only thing I installed after that was Native Access by Native Instruments which is how I discovered this.

Thank you for trying.....it must be something else. The assumption was it is iTunes because everywhere i have looked it said that file came from there.

I'm wondering why I don't see it now as apparently it should be there with iTunes as you have just said.

I'm starting to disbelieve what is out there about it because the file is so old (2014).

Just checked again to verify I'm not going mad and I definitely don't have that driver, iTunes behaves normally and doesn't affect anything else. The article posted by jaree1961 mentions Norton, do you use that?
