UPDATE 12/14:

November 22, 2021 - KB5007262 (OS Build 22000.348) Preview

IMPORTANT Because of minimal operations during the holidays and the upcoming Western new year, there won’t be a preview release (known as a “C” release) for the month of December 2021. There will be a monthly security release (known as a “B” release) for December 2021. Normal monthly servicing for both B and C releases will resume in January 2022.

For information about Windows update terminology, see the article about the types of Windows updates and the monthly quality update types. For an overview of Windows 11 (original release), see its update history page.

Note Follow @WindowsUpdate to find out when new content is published to the Windows release health dashboard.

Windows 11 servicing stack update - 22000.345

  • This update makes quality improvements to the servicing stack, which is the component that installs Windows updates. Servicing stack updates (SSU) ensure that you have a robust and reliable servicing stack so that your devices can receive and install Microsoft updates.

Known issues in this update

Microsoft is not currently aware of any issues with this update.

How to get this update

Before installing this update

Microsoft combines the latest servicing stack update (SSU) for your operating system with the latest cumulative update (LCU). For general information about SSUs, see Servicing stack updates and Servicing Stack Updates (SSU): Frequently Asked Questions.

Install this update

Release ChannelAvailableNext Step
Windows Update or Microsoft UpdateYesGo to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update. In the Optional updates available area, you’ll find the link to download and install the update.
Windows Update for BusinessNoNone. These changes will be included in the next security update to this channel.
Microsoft Update CatalogYesTo get the standalone package for this update, go to the Microsoft Update Catalog website.
Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)NoYou can import this update into WSUS manually. See the Microsoft Update Catalog for instructions.

If you want to remove the LCU

To remove the LCU after installing the combined SSU and LCU package, use the DISM/Remove-Package command line option with the LCU package name as the argument. You can find the package name by using this command: DISM /online /get-packages.

Running Windows Update Standalone Installer (wusa.exe) with the /uninstall switch on the combined package will not work because the combined package contains the SSU. You cannot remove the SSU from the system after installation.

I ran the New UWT5 App to repair the Windows Store using Dism and it fix it. I am now out.:love::love::love::love::love::love:
Speaking about the UWT5 App, does anyone know if the Settings -> System Sharing page exists on Windows 11 or not as I noticed that option was enabled in UWT5 but I am not able to find the sharing option under Settings -> System on Windows 11 even with it enabled.

Hi there

@alessiomagliozz

These days with very efficient SSD's / classical Spinners etc with proper sensible decent fast cache sizes , fast CPU's, fast RAM, decent mobo bus speeds and a good I/O subsystem why does anybody ever need to defrag disks any more -- in the days when a 20GB IDE disk was considered large that might have been a worthwhile exercise - I really haven't seen the need for this process for years now.

Cheers
jimbo

I have done update via WU but just "Right Click" problem (in "Single-click" mode) is resolved! Emojis are not all changed, most of them are the same as before! "Ease of Access" folder name didn't change to "Accessibility". "Alt+Tab" window highlight is not changed to new "Bold" stroke!

I did uninstall update and applied "SFC" and "DISM" to repair. I did install offline update (KB5007262) but all are the same, partially (of bugs) are fixed!

Hello boys and girls, I'm baaaaack. :D

This version plus a new Version of Eizo ColorNavigator fixed the ICC monitor color profile issues I was having.

In addition, while momentarily back in Windows 10, I found another issue related to photo editing. I have a wide-gamut 10-bit displays (as opposed to normal 8-bit per color displays). I have to enable the 10-bit in the Nvidia control panel. When I did, for windows UWP apps, the button text would not display. which made the store, feedback hub, etc. difficult to use as you can imagine. This took me a good part of day to identify what was causing it (as I had 10-bit enabled), ruling out video drivers, so it was something in a Windows 10 update.

Well that issue does not appear in this version of 11, so for the first time in a while, I believe I have image editing capabilities.

I actually upgraded from Windows 10 with a uupdump iso instead of a backup since I had done some cleanup work in Windows 10. Most of my 11 customizations were saved as .reg files. sp I got most everything back. except the start menu layout. Will see if I can restore that from a backup. Anybody got a hint of where that information is stored?

Today I lost confidence in Windows 11. I booted the computer as normal and it stayed at the spinning dot forever. Waited over 1h, but got nothing but high disk usage.

Not sure I wanna test this garbage any longer. Can't even get into safemode. Trying recovery from DVD/USB does not work either. Only command that does anything is CheckDisk. Both DISM and SFC fail to do anything except telling me the tools can't continue.

😂

Today I lost confidence in Windows 11. I booted the computer as normal and it stayed at the spinning dot forever. Waited over 1h, but ...
Which system? Your Lenovo ThinkPad A485 or old desktop PC? Did you do a clean install of non-dev build of Windows 11 22000 or upgraded from Win10?

It is my 2nd gen Intel system. Been working 100% without any errors at all until it suddenly did not boot at all. It is a VHD boot that was clean installed as a VM and later native booted. Hyper-V can't even boot it anymore.

All I've done with that system is boot it, chat on Discord and played some Minecraft. ...and it broke completely. 😂
