Downloading...22635.2486 looks to be a tiny update...A day later...

No problems until this am when I got a Green Screen of Death web browsing--haven't had one of those in so long I cannot remember. Dev for StartAllBack released a new build yesterday, which I installed this AM--I'm still up, so who knows what caused it. Will update if the problem repeats.

Yeah, I never know what the version #'s are for what is there already.

These 2 seem pretty redundant!
Why do they need 2 different places for MS Edge to open the same stuff?
The one on the right of the screen is messing up the desktop layout too.

So, I disable the one on the Taskbar causing the problem till MS comes out with a fix.
I can use the one built in MS Edge if I really want to try out the silly Bing Chat with A.I.

Of course, the ultra-zealous MS moderator deleted this same question from the MS forum.

Source code link on the webpage goes to git.uupdump.net, where Orin seems to be the maintainer for 6 packages and abbodi1406 is still listed as maintainer of the UUP converter script.

Strange ?

I'm not an Insider at all, but the UUPDUMP.CN site is showing a choice for 22631.2428 under the 23H2 dropdown for compiling an ISO file.

So I tried it ... works as all the UUP site compilation sequences normally do, as bog standard.

It produced an ISO of about 6.2GB which Rufus wrote onto an USB drive without issue then installed on my C: drive as an update using setup.exe from 22621.2428 to 22631.2428 without problem.

My only gripe is the standard annoying, drudgery problem of rechoosing all the preferred fonts over MS' cheesy defaults. (Why I prefer an MSU file as an update, to avoid that annoyance). However, this UUPDUMP.CN update to 23H2 works perfectly as a "known build".

[For those who may wish to wag forefingers about "trusting China", I made backups prior to testing this of course, and I've long had a firewall (FreeFirewall) that blocks any outgoing until I decide to let it through or not. For me, this is a calculated risk, reduced to negligible. Apart from that, this elevenforum, like it's earlier predecessors, is invaluable for discussing interesting issues like this].

I downloaded it yesterday, from uupdump.net, it is working again and there is no need for China or Estonia.

Also, I don't use Rufus, I just make my installation media on a FAT32 USB flash drive.
Since the install.wim is bigger than 4GiB, I split the install.wim in install.swm and install2.swm as you can see below.

Dism /Split-Image /ImageFile:d:\Temp\install.wim /SWMFile:d:\Temp\install.swm /FileSize:4000

Weird that on the command above this forum editor changes D: into emoji

I had to use d: instead of D: (lower case) to avoid the incorrect entry.
