Not for me, so far.

But it sometimes feels like every update causes grief for a small fraction of Windows users.

I updated 2 machines in R.P. channel with W.U.
Then I was tired of waiting for W.U. on the public build and decided to update 3 machines with the MSU from the catalog. Did not see anything different up to now. 🤞
But with MS we can always expect a new screwup, given that they pulled back that update from public build. 😵‍💫🤷‍♂️
Anyway, out of 5 machines only one ran the DISM /ONLINE /CLEANUP-IMAGE /SCANHEALTH clean. The other four found repairable components and had to run DISM /ONLINE /CLEANUP-IMAGE /RESTOREHEALTH to repair, long time at 62.3% while repairing and finally complete successfully.

As for SFC /SCANNOW, on 3 machines it found those reoccurring Bth files to repair, second pass ran clean.
Never got a clear answer from MS about this issue either. 🤣🤣

All this one was is just premature by less than 2 weeks. That's all. No drama.

If you don't consider reverting to an earlier backup on several machines with consequent loss of time and some irritation to recover from a messy little puddle as "drama" (sarc, as you know), then you're ok, Jack.

Still, it was released before it was ready ... so silly. To avoid all this, I'll run an incremental backup as routine just before installing any "O/S update". An obvious consequence.

I have three Windows 11 computers, one using the Pro version and two using the Home version. After the update the Pro version would give me a warning that anything I would try to delete would be permanently deleted if I put it into the trash (which it did without emptying the trash). After I rebooted the computer deleting worked normally. No problems on y other two computers.

I did not receive either.

Today I removed that update what I manually installed and went into gpedit.msc [Local Group Policy Editor] and went into:
"Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Windows Update Service/Manage updates offered by Windows Update"
You need to enable "Select when you want to receive quality updates".

When I went to Windows Update then as I searched for it the latest update came up.
This is how I can download the update.

Once you have done everything without any problems then you can restore these options in gpedit.msc to "not configured"


The best way, as we have written before, is to download manually from the windows update catalogue.
