I know it's nothing new, been insider since Win 8 , I'm just got used to lengthy updates since I am always between Dev/Beta releases branches my whole life.
so I always feel the tax of living between instabilities and failed updates or the legendary full setup update or in a matter of fact... in-place upgrade when things gets chaotic.... all of this when OS was on HDD era moments... love the rush of dopamine and the spike of adrenaline living seeing a new Windows update gets released. :ROFLMAO:

Canary feel like more made for PCs . Most my laptops (especially the old ones) isn't usable on Canary insiders... full of rainbows and BSOD crashes but for Desktop PCs its heaven :D

When I open the Widgets panel it often opens like this. I always get a full panel on the second attempt though.:

Looks like you may have received this feature change that was mentioned here. It says gradually and I did not get it yet.
Typical MS inconsistent rollout, only some users get the changes. 😵‍💫🤬🤷‍♂️
See if the change matches what they say here below.
