I checked on all my different Builds. Public, R.P., Beta, Dev and Canary and they all have that "Perform speed test".

Looks like those are already enabled by Microsoft, plus 58989002.

Got em back today after rebooting. The vivetool codes were previously enabled so not sure what happened but they show now.

26220.7961 downloading now... but wait...No go!...keep getting error 0x80010002 and download fails repeatedly. I'll try later.

EDIT: I'm finally getting the download to commence, although it is terrifically slow, for some reason--I'm at 14% after 20 minutes--very slow for my access speed. Usually takes about a minute or less to download 100% through WU. I checked out my Services in and around the Win Update service, and then rebooted. I think what may have happened is that the Win UD service simply stopped working earlier in the day and then switched back on during the reboot reinitialization. I should also mention that this is a REPAIR installation initiated through Windows Update/advanced/Recovery/Fix Problems using Windows update, because I kept getting the error above through the normal Win update channel. ~~This looks like it will work~~, but it is dog slow...

EDIT #2: Success...

Finally. Well I wish I could precisely define what happened but as I was preparing to forget about 7961, and hit the pause for one week button, suddenly the download speed from the Microsoft server picked up to its normal throughput speed, and I was able to download it normally w/o invoking the /Recovery/Fix Problems using Windows Update, and the build downloaded and installed without any difficulty! Odd, as it has been several years since I got that particular 0x80010002 download error! So I hope not to see that problem again, and it may have been a problem with the Microsoft server that supplies my build downloads. I don't really love chasing my tail, but sometimes it is inevitable.

(Also, for those interested, StartAllBack 3.9.21 is working splendidly with this latest build and the ones before.)

Did you get the Speed Test back?
I think that the only ones needed for the Speed Test link are these 2.

@Dronix,

48433719 is not required for the Speed Test.
49453572 is enabled with priority 15 and cannot be changed. (Beta, Dev, Canary) (Disabled on Public Build default image)
57703775 and 58989002 are the 2 needed for the Speed Test.

Take a close look at the screenshots. The 1st is initially just a cleanly installed system. 2nd - after disabling ViveTool IDs. And the behavior of the identifier 49453572 is interesting. I do not know why this happens, but the fact remains that the Perform Speed Check menu bar can be turned on or off.

If I disable 58989002, the Speed Test disappears.
The same on any Build, insider and non-insider.
All my ids were enabled by Microsoft.

49453572 (Standalone_Future) is a requisite that allows 48433719 to be enabled.

To get this "Perform speed test" link, all I need are 57703775 and 58989002.

Maybe, but I had the ID 58989002 enabled by default. But I repeat, the ID 49453572 is disabled, even though you claim otherwise, and affects the display of the Speed Test.

49453572 Is disable in public Build but it is enabled with Priority 15 in Beta, Dev and Canary builds, without that it cannot enable 48433719.

Public Build has the speed test and uses just 57703775 and 58989002 without 49453572 and 48433719.

Here is the state on Canary 28020.1685.

58989002 needs to be enabled, either by default or any other way.

This below is the state on my public build 26200.7922. (See the difference on 49453572 and 48433719.

LOL, I'm use to it I guess. I use Winhawk transparency on the other two machines if that makes you feel any better. Probably not LOL.

We are currently in Beta, and with the ID 49453572 enabled, its priority is both 15 and 8. With the ID 49453572 disabled, the priority is only 15. Check it out. So there is a misunderstanding that we are arguing about for some reason.

I don't use priority 8, I just showed on Post #36 how those IDs were set by Microsoft on my Beta, Dev and Canary, versus the public Build 26200.7922.
Clearly 58989002 is enabled in all cases, while 49453572 and 48433719 are disabled in public build.
Your results don't match mine, something is fishy, all my machines have the setting that was set by Microsoft.

If you set priority 8 it will not change what is set with priority 15. The highest priority is used.

You won't understand at all - I don't include priority 8 manually. When the ID is enabled, it is added by itself and the Speed Test works. When the ID is disabled, priority 8 disappears automatically and the Speed Test does not work. At least that's the way it is with me. I don't know why.
