Just been looking online for a new keyboard.

Q: Why are they all BLACK. I want a white one. OK, if I type in a white one, I find lots. but default seems to be black

Works better for backlit keys.
White gets dirtier faster. I have one light grey mouse, grime shows up way faster!

This is WHY you buy a Ducky keyboard...


I type with three fingers, like a pile driver. I go through a rubber dome keyboard in less than a month.
So one day, I decided to get a mechanical keyboard. So I bought a Steel Series 6vg2 or something.
It lasted six months and the keys started becoming erratic.

So, then I bought a Ducky Shine II and a Ducky Shine III in 2013.
In 2023, I decided the Ducky Shine II needed cleaning and new key caps.

I took screen shots of everything. Below are the various stages the (still working flawlessly), went through...

At present, I'm using the Ducky Shine III. I decided the Shine ii needed a well deserved vacation, back in it's box.
It really does, still work flawlessly after ten years of cruel abuse. :-)

The only thing on my desk that's white is my keyboard. I wasn't going for uniformity when I bought it, but now I kinda wish I had a black one to match everything else.

Just looking online yesterday for keycap replacements for the keyboard numbered as the 1 broke.

I was actually thinking of white (or red) numberpad keys for the black keyboard. If I can bloody find any…

And with this one I have multiple keyboard layouts depending on what game or software I am using.

This is for GTAV. (I know it needs cleaning)
