With my new dell xps 15 9520 that uses Windows 11 Pro, I am getting into a lot of issues. First off, I mentioned the annoying issue where it doesn't have that never combine windows options which is very annoying.

But not only that, this has happened several times already and I am not sure what is the culprit. So my wired keyboard or laptop keyboard will suddenly stop working. When I left click with my mouse on any desktop icon, it right clicks. I remember having this exact issue last year with my old dell xps 15 9550 laptop that uses windows 10 pro after installing kaspersky total as I wanted antivirus so I bought that. I remember doing something with the kaspersky settings where this keyboard not working issue went away because I did changes to the setting. Now when I installed kaspersky total on this new windows 11 pro laptop, I imported the same exact settings to it. So it shouldn't have these same issues.

So I mentioned I play online poker on this laptop as that is my main purpose. Well I use certain keyboard keys as hotkeys when playing. For some reason, none of my hotkeys work. Such as imagine the letters on the keyboard to perform so and so action. Not only that, I use the tab key for a certain action. However, it seems when i press the tab button normally when web browsing, it would open a big window that previews all my chrome tabs. How do i disable this on windows 11? I do not want any of my regular keys on the keyboard to be a shortcut. Could that also be why my hotkeys don't want when I play?

Now the very frustrating part I am going to explain. I notice several times, my keyboard would stop working. And mouse when clicking would only right click on desktop icons. I then went to kaspersky total and paused it. Then resumed it and then paused it again. Only after that, my keyboard works when I type. However when I then start playing online poker again, my poker hotkeys never work. Then I press the buttons and tab button and all that. Then suddenly same issue... my keyboard doesn't work yet again. So when playing, even if I go to a chrome tab, I cannot even type anything. I can't even open a chrome tab in general because the left click right clicks. This is when kaspersky total is paused. So when I resume kaspersky total and then pause it again, then I noticed my keyboard works.

So is this 100% kaspersky total that is the culprit here? It is paused so how does that happen? However, how to I disable keyboard shortcuts on windows 11? I went to settings/accessibility and it seems most things are turned off?

Why does pressing the tab button make all my chrome windows preview in a big window? So I went to settings and turned off task view which seem to be very annoying as pressing just the TAB button make it show up. Does anyone find this annoying? But anyone know what the culprit is here? Is it kaspersky total?

Okay so it seems the hotkeys I use when playing poker is because of something in the program that I did not change. That does seem to work for now but I am not for sure as later on it might not work.

However, why does my keyboard not work then earlier and mouse left clicking right clicks... and when pausing kaspersky, then resume kaspersky and finally pausing kaspersky... my keyboard and mouse clicking works? This has to be kaspersky total? Could it also be attributed to the TAB key just opening task view? Are there any buttons where it is like a shortcut key that is similar to the TAB button that does something like this?

I don't have Kaspersky, but it has a mode which wants to block keystroke loggers from stealing passwords. I presume you're playing poker through a website (not an app), so you need to exclude this site from protection. Again, don't ask me -- just passing along what I read online.
