Lag when typing in Microsoft Office 365

I have a friend who owns an Alienware m18 laptop just like me but when he is typing in Word or any other Microsoft Office 365 app, there is a noticeable lag and or slight screen flickering. Doesn't happen in any other app, Windows 11 has all the updates and all his drivers are up to date. I did some research and some users suggested turning off graphical hardware acceleration but under settings / Advance / Graphics there is nothing that pertains to hardware acceleration, seems like those guides are for older versions of Office.

Any ideas?
